This belt skirt is entirely handmade from reclaimed black leather and black denim. By combining leftover materials from previous garments, discarded fabrics are given a new purpose without hiding their history. Raw edges, visible seams and layered panels remain intentionally exposed, making the construction part of the final design.
The piece functions as both a belt and a skirt, sitting somewhere between clothing and wearable sculpture. Different textures of leather and denim create contrast while maintaining a monochrome palette. Every panel is individually cut and assembled by hand, making each piece one of a kind.
Built from what already existed, the work reflects an approach where craftsmanship, reuse and experimentation come together in a single garment.
